Hint: if you have oily skin, you probably won’t like it. But you can’t deny its moisturising properties. Like all oils out there, castor oil is full of moisturising fatty acids that make skin soft and smooth for hours.
OLIVE OIL TO MOISTURISE AND PREVENT WRINKLES
Disclaimer: when it comes to olive oil, I’m biased. I’m Italian so for me, it’s the best thing since sliced bread. Funny thing, science agrees with me. 😉 Turns out, olive oil is so awesome because it’s loaded with fatty acids and antioxidants. Fatty acids are totally underrated in skincare, but your skin can’t live without them. They trap water into the skin and make even the driest of skin soft and smooth again.

I have a huge crush on Shea butter – it literally saved my body skin. My skin there is as dry as the Sahara, maybe more. Shea butter is the only thing I’ve come across that can keep it soft and moisturised from morning till night.

Texture
True Organic Of Sweden All You Need Is Me has a thick, gel-like texture that spreads easily on the skin. It takes a while to absorb and feels a little sticky until it does but if that’s what it takes to deal with dry skin, I’ll take it.
Fragrance
It’s fragrance-free. But just because it doesn’t have added fragrance, it doesn’t mean this lotion smells like nothing. Each ingredient has its own natural smell, so if you’re smelling something, you’re not going crazy.
How To Use It
You can use it all over, from head to foot, whenever your skin feels dry. I like to apply it all over my body after a shower. I also like to travel with it because I can use it all over, so don’t have to bring too many skincare products with me.
Packaging
A sleek white tube. It may not be too fancy to look at (although it doesn’t look too clinical either), but it’s functional and doesn’t waste too much product when you squeeze it out. So I’m cool with it.
Performance & Personal Opinion
Let’s be clear: I don’t use True Organic Of Sweden All You Need Is Me on my face. It’s too rich for that. So no, it’s not the only cream you need in your skincare arsenal. But it’s an one stop shop for all your dry skin woes:
- Dry, cracked lips? Check.
- Rough, dry patches of skin on feet and elbows? Check.
- Cracked, flaky knuckles? Check.
- Red, irritated skin? Check.
My fave way to use it is as a hand and foot cream. I apply a generous layer, put gloves on and go to sleep. When I wake up in the morning, my hands and feet are super soft and so smooth. In my teens, I used vaseline to deal with all my dry skin woes (hey, I lived in a small town and that was the most moisturising thing I could find in the shops). True Organic Of Sweden All You Need Is Me finally replaced that.
It’s just as gentle. Way more moisturising. A little less greasy. Did I mention it has no scent, too? Call me boring, but in skincare that’s a huge plus. Why irritate skin unnecessarily, especially when it’s dry (and vulnerable) in the first place?
Who Should Use This?
Dry skin. Hands down. If your skin is dry, this will deeply nourish it. On the other hand, if you have oily and acne-prone skin, leave it on the shelf. This is too rich for you.
