haus of gloi depravity pumpkin butter

Name: Depravity Pumpkin Butter
Brand: Haus Of Gloi
Size: 6oz
Price: $10.00

From Haus of Gloi’s website:
A best seller! If you need a change of pace from our light Body Emulsion, our Pumpkin Butter formula is divine intervention for the skin. Made with shea butter and unrefined pumpkin seed oil this moisturizer is rich without being too greasy. Each batch is made from scratch, paraben free and vegan.

What I liked:
– rich texture sinks in quickly without leaving any oily residue behind
– very moisturizing, leaves even the driest of skin soft and smooth for the entire day
– strong gorgeous and decadent scent, lingers on for ages
– jar is sealed with a safety seal
– samples are available
– the price

What I didn’t like:
– I honestly can’t think of anything

If I had to pick one body moisturizer for the rest of my life, it would be Haus Of Gloi Depravity Pumpkin Butter. It’s not just a godsend for even the driest of skin, it also smells amazing. Forget those simple coconut, vanilla or fruity scents most body moisturizers are infused with. Haus of Gloi scents are complex, original and alluring, and you’ll have a hard time choosing which one to get.

In the end, I settled on Depravity, which is described as “pure corruption: clove, nutmeg lurk amongst the sweetest offerings of coconut, on a bed of rich golden amber, laden with dustings of sandalwood and spilled wine”. It’s an opulent, decadent and mysterious ambery woody blend with spicy accents, sweetened by the subtlest touch of coconut. And it’s very feminine. It is also very strong and lingers on for about a day and a half. If you’re into sweet and delicate floral fruity scents, Depravity will probably give you a headache. But those who are into exotic, dark and luxurious scents must give this one a go.

The texture of this pumpkin butter is also very rich, yet it sinks very quickly into the skin, without leaving a greasy residue behind. It is very moisturizing, leaving even very dry skin soft and smooth for the entire day. Its moisturizing properties are due to Shea Butter, which can prevent water loss and improve skin barrier function. In addition, Shea Butter, also has anti-aging properties. Another key ingredient is Pumkin Seed Oil, an antioxidant rich in carotenoids and Vitamin E.

Depravity Pumpkin Butter is packaged in a huge jar that’s sealed with a safety seal, which I think is a nice and thoughtful touch. Because you get a big amount of product, and you need so little for each application, the jar will last you for months. If I haven’t convinced you of how awesome this Pumpkin Butter is yet, you can always try a sample. For only $4.50, you get a 2oz mini size jar. At that price, you can even try several flavours without breaking the bank.

Water, butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter, cucurbita pepo (pumpkin) seed oil, caprylic/capric triglyceride, glyceryl stearate, PEG 100 stearate, glycerin, cyclopentasiloxane, behenyl alcohol, cetearyl alcohol, dimethicone, proprietary fragrance blend, phenoxyethanol (and) caprylyl glycol (paraben and formaldehyde free preservative), hydrolyzed cucurbita pepo (pumpkin) seed extract, tocopherol, tetrasodium EDTA, xanthan gum, citric acid

Haus Of Gloi Depravity Pumpkin Butter is the best body moisturizer I’ve ever tried. Its rich texture sinks quickly into the skin, without leaving a greasy residue behind. Very moisturizing, it leaves even the driest of skin soft, smooth and smelling gorgeous for the entire day. The scent is opulent, complex and strong and lingers on for ages.

I love that you bolded some of the words. It summarizes the review and explains why you loved it in the summary! 😀 The summary helps a lot and in fact, it’s one of my favorite parts in a review because it’s to the point and states whether the reviewer likes or recommends it.

Janessa, I’m glad you like it. I can become quite wordy, and I know not everyone has always the time to read the entire post, so I hope this helps to make it scannable. That way, anyone can see at a glance what the product does or doesn’t. 🙂
