Benefit has teamed up with British fashion designer Matthew Williamson to create a limited edition kit, The Rich Is Back ($34.00). I really love Williamson’s highly recognizable aesthetic: he’s a master of vivid colours, exotic and kaleidoscopic prints and bold embellishments, and he pays a lot of attention to details. Now, he’s brought these elements into a beautiful makeup kit.
The fun and pretty packaging, which features some of the designer’s “favourite iconic prints”, is a work of art. Inside, you’ll find They’re Real Mascara, Lip Gloss in Inferno, Gimme Fever Cheek Powder and Eyeshadow Palette in Solid Gold, Get Down Brown, Disco Dust and Feel So Teal. In the words of Williamson: ““This is high-octane glam makeup for dressing up to look fabulous and dance the night away!”
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to check out this kit. It is already available at sephora.com and should arrive in Europe shortly. What do you think of it?
