1.What’s your favourite summer snack?
Ice creams. Love watermelon too.

2. What’s your favourite hair removal method?
Shaving. It’s quick, effective and painless.

3. Do you wear boots in summer?
Nope. The weather in summer here is just too hot for boots!

4. Bikini or one-piece swimsuit?
I like both. I find one-piece swimsuits elegant and sexy (maybe I’m old-fashioned, but I always thought that the less skin you show, the sexier you look), but bikinis are pretty too.

5. Do you like tartan clothes?
Love them!

AshleyLee, I should really start using an epilator on my legs, but I’m a bit scared of the pain. But at least hair doesn’t grow back so soon.

Oh, you should try! At first I used my epilator on my legs and underarms and even my bikini area. Well, that was something. On my legs it just kind of stung a little. On my underarms it really HURT! And… well…it REALLY hurt. I kept doing it, anyway, because they said it wouldn’t hurt as much. After a while it did get easier, and the hair stays away much longer than shaving. I did my bikini area a couple of times, but then decided I’d rather keep shaving. Sometimes I shave my underarms and sometimes I epilate them. But I actually love doing my legs! It keeps them bare longer, and now it isn’t pain at all – it’s a “pain sensation”, which they say in the manual and at which I laughed at first, but it’s true. It just tingles in an interesting way, and I enjoy it.

The epilator I have is a Braun Silk-epil Xpressive. I picked it because of the recommendations on Amazon. It will run in the shower, and it has a vibraty thing that makes it easier to start. That was good, but now I don’t use them. The battery lasts a long time, enough to do everything, probably.

But, epilating is not as easy as shaving. When you shave, it’s easy to see in the cream where the razor went. But with an epilator, it really depends on how good your eyes are, I guess. Sometimes it’s hard to see if you missed a hair or two.

What I did was start a routine where I do my legs every day, when I’m on the toilet, and I like that. LOL

Thanks for sharing your experience and tips. I don’t think I will ever be brave enough to try it on my bikini area lol, but I wouldn’t mind using it on my legs. I could really do with shaving less often. I will look around to see if I can find the Braun Silk-epil Xpressive as it is a good one to start with. I guess I will have to stuck with it until the pain starts lessening which I hope won’t take long lol.

Tammy, maybe you can try tartan accessories or something? They are easier to wear than a whole tartan dress/outfit. And they are really cute. 🙂
