Sunday Survey, Vol.15

1. Do you have any children?
Not yet, but I would love to one day. 🙂

2. What’s your favourite skincare brand?
I like Clinique, their products are usually well-formulated and effective, at least based on my personal experience with them. Olay does some fantastic moisturizers too.

3. What are you craving right now?
A nice bowl of ice cream and a cold drink, please. It’s too hot here!

4. Do you prefer milk or orange juice in the morning?
Orange juice. I can’t drink milk as I can’t digest it. I don’t have a problem with foods with milk though.

5. What do you think of reality tv shows?
Sorry to anyone who watches them, but I absolutely hate them! They’re garbage and so stupid! I tried to watch them a couple of times, but I found them really boring. I just don’t get how anyone can find entertaining watching a bunch of nobodies with no talent at all pretending to act naturally when it’s obvious most, if not all of it, had already been planned and decided by the Tv station or at least edited to make things appear in a certain way. I used to watch those like X Factor but lately it’s seems it’s all about the judges instead of the talent of the contestants, which I find very annoying. Everyone I know loves this type of shows, so maybe I’m the weird one.

1. Do you have any children?
No, but I’d love to have a whole gazillion 🙂

2. What’s your favourite skincare brand?
Oh, so hard to say! I guess a tie between Clarins and Tautra, made by Norwegian nuns.

3. What are you craving right now?
Uh-oh, now you made me think about food! I guess I’m always craving food, usually fruit and sometimes chocolate and salt and vinegar chips 🙂

4. Do you prefer milk or orange juice in the morning?
Milk! I don’t drink orange juice, or any other juice, with meals. It’s just not right with food in my opinion.

5. What do you think of reality tv shows?
I’m quite indifferent to them, although some of them make me feel very bad if I watch a couple of minutes. I do watch Top Chef, which I like.

Enjoy your sunday, Gio!

Pinch, I’m using some Clarins skincare at the moment and so far it’s ok. I was expecting more for the price to be honest, though. I’d never heard of Tautra, but I’m intrigued now.

1. Do you have any children?
No.

2. What’s your favourite skincare brand?
I tend to change the brand when the ones I’m using ran out. Not that they ain’t good, it’s just one of the irrational, annoying habit that I have. The local Oriental Princess, Botanics, The Body Shop and Murad are ones that I tend to buy most frequent.

3. What are you craving right now?
A bowl of instant noodle in Tom Yam Khung, or Moo Sap!

4. Do you prefer milk or orange juice in the morning?
Neither! But if there are just two choices available, I’d probably have milk, then orange juice.

5. What do you think of reality tv shows?
really depends on the show. I used to love watching the first four seasons of Survivor then just stopped. I like watching So you think you can dance. Actually, it’s the only reality TV show that I watch now, still not regularly though. Others are just garbage! Especially The Bachelor/Bachelorette. Awful!

Puen, I always try new skincare products when the ones I’m using run out. And they never perform as good as my beloved Olay and Clinique ones so I don’t know why I try them in the first place. I guess I just hope to find something better eheh..

I’m so glad we don’t have The Bachelor/Bachelorette here! They tried to make a programme like that but it doesn’t seem to have had a lot of success. Luckily..

1) Nope, and don’t plan on any at this point!

2) Hmm good question. I don’t have any favorite brands. I like Shiseido sunscreen, and otherwise I just go with whatever brand makes good products (preferably cheap ones). Currently I use stuff from Maybelline, Philosophy, Paula’s Choice, Olay, etc.

3) I’m going to Hawaii soon, so I’m craving mochi (a Japanese dessert).

4) Usually I just have water, tea or coffee. I just started having problems with milk last month too. Weird. I switched to vanilla almond milk with cereal, and luckily I can still have ice cream – just not plain milk.

5) I still watch a lot of reality shows – my favorite is Big Brother. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of them completely.

Jen, have fun in Hawaii!

I’m sorry you have problems with milk too but at least it’s only plain milk and you can still eat other foods that have it. 🙂

Stavroula, milk and cocoa sounds tasty! I’m tempted to try but I don’t think I can drink it. I wish I could drink plain milk sometimes as it said to be so good for you but it just makes me sick. 🙁

Even cold milk smells disgusting, I can’t stand it! Ask your doctor if you can drink milk with some cocoa! You could also try milk with honey, I used to drink that when I was a kid! 🙂

Stavroula, sounds lovely. I’m not sure I could drink that without feeling ill because of the milk. But then again I cat eat food with milk so I’m not sure. Maybe I should ask my doctor after all, thanks. 🙂

I’d love to be somewhere near the ocean now. Reading a book and drinking cocktail.

Can I say tea? 🙂

1. Do you have any children?
No, and definitely not anytime soon. I like kids, but I don’t see myself having any ’till I’m older (read: NOT in my twenties).

2. What’s your favourite skincare brand?
Lush! Angels On Bare Skin is amazing. Amazing, I tell you!

3. What are you craving right now?
Tempura ice cream. Deep fried, ice creamy goodness!

4. Do you prefer milk or orange juice in the morning?
I not a fan of either one. I prefer tea. I’d probably go through withdraws without at least 4 cups a day. Seriously.

5. What do you think of reality tv shows?
If you’re talking about the ones that follow a bunch of idiots around, i.e. Jersey Shore, The City, or Keep Up with the Kardashians, then I can’t stand them! It really bugs me that these people are famous for pretty much no good reason. Having a big ass and/or being a complete bone head doesn’t mean one deserves a tv show and product endorsements. I do love the travel, food, and design reality shows, i.e. Anthony Bourdain No Reservations, Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern, and Tacky House.

Tammy, 4 cups of tea a day! Wow! You must really love your tea!

I completely agree with you. I don’t understand why anyone would be interested in watching a show that follows the life of a nobody that’s famous for nothing. But then I wouldn’t even be interested in following a reality show about real and talented celebrities. As for travel, design, food etc shows, I know they are called reality shows as well but I personally think they fall in a different category and some of those are enjoable.
