Chic Nova Vintage Owl Shape Watch: I think you all know by now that I have a thing for owls. This one is so cute! And practical. It’s a watch attached to a necklace. How can you not love it?

Becca Beach Tint Summer Souffle: a four-in-one air-whipped soufflรฉ formula that adds a flush of color to cheeks. This lightweight formula packs four must-have qualities into one formula: a powder to add a pop of color, a stain to give staying power, an illuminating highlighter, and a cream to deliver a flawless finish. Waterproof, is available in six shades. My favourite is Lychee/Opal.

YSL Couture Palette in Lumieres Majorelle: YSL has just lunched 11 eyeshadow palettes, each of which contains five pigmented and longwearing matte and satin shades. My favourite is Lumiere Majorelle, which features intense blue and green shades.

Demand a Winchester T-Shirt: does anyone else need therapy after watching season 9 finale of Supernatural? In the meantime, I’m thinking of getting myself this T-shirt that says: “If life hands you Edward Cullen throw him back and demand a Winchester.” Cool, isn’t? If you don’t like pink, it’s available in other colours and styles. Oh, and I’m demanding Dean. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Benefit They’re Real Push-Up Eyeliner: this eyeliner has a soft angled tip to draw an easy line, while its flat, wide guard gently pushes lashes aside to get close to lash line. The matte black gel formula is budge-proof too. It arrives in shops in July.

What I’m Reading Now

nights-in-rodanthe-nicholas-sparks
Nights In Rodanthe by Nicholas Sparks
I saw half the movie on TV a few years ago and didn’t think much of it. It seemed like your usual soppy romance story, and, in a way it is. But when you read the book, you’ll cry. Adrianne, a divorced woman with three teenage children and a sick father to take care of agrees to tend her friend’s inn for the weekend. The only guest is Paul Flannel, a divorced ex-surgeon estranged from his son. During the weekend, where the two are forced inside the inn together by a terrible storm, they fall in love. Once again, Sparks writes about finding true love and losing it, and how that changes you forever. I know I said it before, but Sparks really has a way with words that pulls at your heartstrings. And he always makes you reflect on what’s really important in life.

Sunday Survey, Vol.203

1. Did you ever get detention in school?
Nope, I’m not sure that’s a punishment allowed here, actually. Usually, if you misbehave, you’re just sent out of the classroom for a while or, if you do something really serious, to the headmaster’s office.

2. Your favourite quick hairstyle?
A messy bun with a cute headband.

3. Favourite thing about June?
The weather. Summer’s just started so the weather is sunny and warm but not too humid or hot or unbearable. Just perfect.

4. Ankle boots or over-the-knee boots?
Ankle boots. Much easier to pull off.

5. Do you like popcorn?
Mmmm it’s not my favourite snack.

It’s your turn now!

Yesterday I finally went home after the flood hit our town.
Other places were heavily hit, too, but Obrenovac was hit the hardest.

My house was under water until Friday or Thursday, I guess – that’s two weeks after the flood!

I’m glad I went there – it’s… awful. I cannot describe it.
We lost everyhting.

I can’t even get into my mother’s room, where all our documents are (if the mold didn’t get to them, we’re lucky).

The things that were in water ended up being better than the ones above the water level – those were hit by awful mold. And algae. And worms of the girth of my pinkie.

All my documents, my books (and I mean encyclopedias, dictionaries, books I need for my job), my notes, my clothes, my shoes, my makeup collection…
And it’s not about things it’s about the memories and feelings in those things – I felt good in my room, I felt good when listening to music and working on my laptop, I felt good when I pluck my eyebrows, do my makeup, wear my dress.

The house itself…

It’s good we got out of there alive.

And it’s good I could finally see that – on one hand, it’s worse than I expected, but on the other, it’s better, in an unexplainable way.
I was a mess before, but now, I faced the situation and I can pick up the pieces and move on.

Ana, I’m so so sorry to hear that. I had heard about the flood, but was hoping you and your family were ok. At least you all got out of there alive, which is the most important thing. I can’t even begin to imagine how you feel. If there is anything I can do, just let me know. *hugs*

Oh god the S9 finale! I know a few people saw the outcome happening before it did, but it’s the wait between this and seeing where they’re going to go with it that kills me! I didn’t cry like a lot of people did though.

Katie, I was shocked at the end. I know that blade was doing something horrible to him, but I didn’t expect that to happen the way it did. And I agree, the wait is the worst! I NEED to know where they’re going with this, and SOON!

I’m sure that one of my friends will love the adorable Owl watch, too. She’s into owls as well.

But on to your quessies (I haven’t taken part in your famous Sunday survey for a long time):
1. Bullying, yes (even teachers are cruel bullies). Detention, no. I was a silent and coy child at school.
2. My short hairdo is the quickest hairstyle. ๐Ÿ˜‰
3. Same here. I like the moderate climate of June. It’s a great month for outdoor activities.
4. None of them because I always choose trainers. They’re the most comfortable shoes for me.
5. Nope. I go for sesame sticks or puffed rice cakes.

Thanks for asking. It was fun answering. ๐Ÿ™‚

Mylanqolia, your friend has great tastes. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I prefer puffed rice cakes to popcorn too. They’re great. ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh my I must hunt down that t-shirt, it would be perfect for Cat! She loves Supernatural!
1. Sadly I have, once or twice… ๐Ÿ™
2. My hair is always loose but when it’s how in summer I can do a sort of twist up.
3. The weather finally gets warmer and it’s my daughter’s birthday! ๐Ÿ™‚
4. Ankle for me too. In fact I can’t remember the last time I owned a pair of knee-boots and never owned an over-the-knee.
5. You have no idea the quantities of pop corn I’ve eaten over the years! There was a time I would eat it every single day! Air popped with a kind of simily butter flavor flaky topping that had practically no calories. Chemical but good! ๐Ÿ™‚

Icaria, Catherine has great tastes in TV shows. That T-shirt would be a great present for her indeed. ๐Ÿ˜‰ And a very happy birthday to her! I hope she’ll have a wonderful day!
