What I’m Reading Now

201 killer cover letters sandra podesta and andrea paxton
201 Killer Cover Letters by Sandra Podesta & Andrea Paxton
If you’re unemployed or would simply like to change job, I highly recommend you pick up this book. Podesta and Paxton explain that a CV, doesn’t matter how impressive it is, is not good enough on its own to land you the job you want. A well-written cover letter, instead, will make you stand out. In this book, the authors give lots of tips on how to write one that will grant you an interview. They also teach you how to write follow-up notes to send after the interview, plus thank you notes to everyone who helped you in your job search. The book also features 201 examples of killer cover letters that impressed recruiters, and which you can use as templates to write your own. And because the book comes with a download file, you won’t even have to retype them! Available at amazon.

Marina, I had never thought of eating salmon at breakfast. Sounds delicious, though!
