Brand: Sleek Makeup
Size: 12×0.03 oz

From the press release:
Limited edition Arabian Nights Smoke & Shadows i-Divine palette includes 12 highly pigmented eye shadows. With an intense colour combination, there are endless possibilities for striking looks, sure to turn heads and make you look and feel incredible.

What I liked:
– beautiful mix of intense, dark, and smokey shades
– shades are pigmented, soft to the touch and easy to blend
– longlasting
– sleek and pretty packaging, comes with a big mirror
– the price

What I didn’t like:
– Gold Souk and a couple of the matte shades are sheer (but easily buildable)
– Sorcerer has a dry, hard texture
– some of the shades produce a small amount of fallout

Inspired by Arabian fantasy, seduction, and warm rich colours, Arabian Nights Smoke & Shadows, the new i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette from Sleek Makeup, embraces the mysterious flair of the far east. The palette contains 12 deep, dark, and jewel-toned hues, in matte and shimmery finishes, that allow you to create beautiful smokey looks for warm summer nights or cold autumnal days.

Let’s take a look at them shall we?

Scheherazade’s Tale: soft peachy pink with a beautiful gold iridescence
Gold Souk: shimmery gold
Aladdin’s Lamp: medium bronzey brown with gold shimmers
Sultan’s Garden: shimmery olive green
Hocus Focus: shimmery, rich, forest green
Simbad’s Seas: vivid medium blue

Genie: shimmery, warm brown
Black Magic: matte, blackened navy
Stallion: dark, matte purple, with reddish undertones
Sorcerer: this is the hardest shade to describe. It’s a matte blackened brown with a touch of purple
Valley of Diamonds: medium purple with gold shimmers
1001 Nights: matte black

As always, the shimmery shades are amazing. Soft to the touch, they are incredibly rich and pigmented. The only exception is Gold Souk, which is sheer. Sleek Makeup recommends you use this shade on the eye lid as a base for every look you’re gonna create with this palette.

Instead, Scheherazade’s Tale, which is soft but not sheer, works best on the inner corner, where it makes the eyes look bigger and more awake.

The matte shades are less pigmented than the shimmery ones, but only Stallion and Sorcerer (the only one with a slightly hard texture) are on the sheer side. But they’re easy to build up if you want a more intense look.

Like the shimmery shades, these too have a soft texture that is very easy to blend and last long, without creasing, even if you don’t use a primer. I recommend you do though, as that will help minimize the fallout. Some of these shades produce very little of it, but if you can minimize it even more why not?

Sleek Makeup Arabian Nights Smoke & Shadows i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette contains 12 rich and smokey shades in shimmery and matte finish. Most of the shades are vivid, very pigmemted, soft to the touch and longlasting. Only three are on the sheer side (but they are easily buildable). However, some of the shades can produce a small amount of fallout.

Rating: 4/5

I’m in love with Sleek eyeshadows, they are cheap and super pigmented. I don’t like the glittery ones though as they seem to have the most fall-out, nice swatches by the way

KikaysiKat, me too. They’re amazing, especially for the price, aren’t they? I agree. The glittery ones aren’t the best, but I love their metallic and shimmer shadows instead. They’re so rich and pigmented!

Beautiful palette! When I want more colorful shadows, I’m going to get myself some Sleek palettes. I don’t wear much eyeshadow so no buy yet for me.

Janessa, it’s gorgeous, isn’t it? Should you start wearing eyeshadow more often, definitely check out their palettes. They are great value for money.
