Name: Twin Lady Sensitive
Brand: Bic
Size: 5 razors
Price: £1.75

From Boots’ website:
Top quality stainless steel twin blade, for a close shaving
Narrow shaver head, which reaches body sensitive areas more easily
Light and short handle, for a greater control and manoeuvrability
5 different colours in each pouch, for a fresh and young design

What I liked:
– light and sturdy
– ensure a close shave
– can be used more than once
– look pretty

What I didn’t like:
– become blunt after 3 uses
– I ended up with more nicks and cuts than usual while using these

Shaving is quick and painless, but must be done so often you can end up spending a pretty penny every month. That’s why a cheap price and longlasting sharpness are the two most important characteristics I look for in a razor. Bic Twin Lady Sensitive is surely inexpensive, but longlasting? Not so much.

The bright fuchsia packet contains 5 razors in pastel and feminine shades, ranging from pink to green to blue. Although pretty, they look like they could fall apart at any moment. Luckily, they don’t. They are a lot sturdier than they look. Thanks to the long handle, they are easy to hold and use too.

The head features twin, sharp blades that ensure a very close and smooth shave. But that also means that, if you’re not careful, you may cut yourself. I’m quite clumsy and often cut myself once or twice while shaving, but when I used these, I ended up with a lot more nicks and cuts than usual.

Because of that, I wouldn’t really recommend these razors to women with sensitive skin. Despite what Bic says, they need something gentler, that removes hairs without causing any damage, like Bic Soleil Bella. Those feature lubricating strips infused with coconut milk that allow the razors to glide on smoothly, leaving skin hair-free and soft.

They also last longer. Bic Twin Lady Sensitive razors have blades that become blunt quite quickly, forcing me to throw them away after only 3 uses. Overall, I’m not particularly impressed. If you’re looking for cheap razors, these do the job ok, but there are much better options out there.

Bic Twin Lady Sensitive have twin, sharp blades that provide a close and smooth shave, but with lots of nicks and cuts. They become blunt after 3 uses too.

I’ve used these before and unfortunately I would totally cut myself all around:) They are pretty cheap so I guess you get what you pay in this case:)

Helena, I agree. They are cheap and perform accordingly. Such a shame, though.

the nicks and cuts are the saddest part of shaving 🙁 Too bad it gave more cuts 🙁 Surely skip this one..

Anubhuti, so true. You can cut yourself with any razors, but these just make it sooo easy. 🙁
