QOTW: Do You Prefer To Buy Online Or In-Store?

Do you prefer to buy online or in-store?

My answer: buying in-store is always better. You get to swatch the colour and see if it’s a good match for your skintone, and if the texture is soft and easy to blend. Having said that, I do most of my shopping online. I live in a small town and very few brands are available here. Plus, you can get better deals online.

I prefer in store, but I don’t really have that opportunity where I live. So, I shop online. HOWEVER, they’re opening an Ulta here soon! I’m excited. 🙂

Trisha, it’s the same for me. Not many brands are available here so buying online is often my only option.

And yay! That’s great! 🙂

For new items .. store for sure. But if I’m re-ordering something then I’m shopping on line.

Monica, buying online is very convenient, isn’t it? But I agree, buying new products that way can be risky.

I hate going shopping so I prefer to buy online. Obviously when it comes to colour cosmetics then being in store is best. I’m off to KIKO in a few weeks in London god help my bank account!

Annabella, I agree some products are better bought in store. Enjoy your shopping spree at Kiko. That place is dangerous for our wallets indeed.

It has to be in store, I have to see what I buy. In my case, we do have many brands readily available so it works out fine. Now that Sephora façade is gorgeous!!! Where is it?

Icaria, lucky you! I wish it was the same here. I’d definitely but less online then.

It’s in Las Vegas.

In-store, no competition.

The online trade for us is complicated still, but if it were easy, I think I’d use it for moisturizers, getting 2-for-1 deals, restocking on products I already use, and the like.

Ana, it’s a shame that buying online for you is complicated. There are some great deals online and it’s more convenient to buy your fave products that way. Here, we don’t have many online stores, and the few that exist rarely have good deals, so I buy mainly from UK ones.
