Confession time: I’ve never finished a whole pot of blush. They’re way too big. Yet, I was reluctant to buy Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush because the pot is so tiny, it didn’t seem like good value for money!
You know what? If you can finish it – it is good value for money. And you can totally finish it. The small size means it’s easy to carry around with you everywhere for touch-ups on the go.
Thanks to Mr BWB for making me come to my senses. He bought me a pot of Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush in Soft Candy and I totally fell in love with it.
Actually, I panicked first. Soft Candy looks like a bright coral red in the pot. How could I pull it off?!
The colour is very pigmented, so less is more with this blush. I only dab the tiniest amount on my cheeks (but you can also build up the color if you prefer) and it gives them a nice and healthy red flush with a radiant glow despite the fact that it doesn’t contain any shimmer nor glitter whatsoever.
The gel-like texture is light and creamy, making it very easy to blend. Unlike most cream blushes, this doesn’t feel sticky when applied on the cheeks, which is always a plus for me.
I’m also pleased with its staying power. It doesn’t last all day, but it only starts to fade after about 7 hours of wear, longer if you set it with powder, which is a lot for a cream blush.
