layla laylash lash extensions 4

Name: Laylash Lash Extensions N°4
Brand: Layla
Price: €12,20

From Layla’s website:
Innovative, funny forms and a lot glamour.

What I liked:
– soft and flexible band makes eyelashes easy to apply
– the length isn’t too long, so you may not have to shorten it
– perfectly curved
– provides a “my lashes but better” look
– lightweight

What I didn’t like:
– glue doesn’t hold lashes in place for long, yet it is difficult to remove from skin
– the price

Would you like long, defined and perfectly curved lashes that look glamourous but natural? This “your lashes but better” look is exactly what Layla Laylash Lash Extension N°4 provides. Made up of light, wispy hairs that are longer in the inner corner and become shorter and shorter at the opposite edge, these lashes have a flexible and soft band that’s very easy to apply and feels comfortable on.

The eyelashes are so lightweight you barely notice you have them on, and their curl doesn’t drop when you apply mascara. The length is just right for my eye, so I didn’t have to cut them short, which is always a plus. But if the lashes themselves are easy to apply, the glue that comes with them makes the job much harder than it needs to be.

Layla Laylash adhesive is the weirdest glue I’ve ever tried. It’s not that good at keeping your false lashes in place for hours, and yet, it stubbornly attaches itself to your skin, refusing to budge off. It took me a lot of time, makeup remover and olive oil to get every little bit off.

Another, minor, problem with it is the finish. The glue remains somewhat shiny once dried, which doesn’t make hiding it with eyeliner all that easy. If you plan to try these false lashes, definitely use your own glue. Your lashes (both your real and fake ones) will thank you!

Layla Laylash Lash Extensions N°4 provide a long, defined and curled “my lashes but better” look. The flexible band makes them easy to apply, while their length is suitable for most eye sizes. However, the enclosed glue barely keeps the lashes in place. And yet, it is very hard to remove from skin.

Rating: false lashes 4/5, glue 1.5/5

Trisha, darn it indeed! It’s so awful! But at least the false lashes are amazing. 🙂

These lashes definitely look natural (in the packaging at least) and I can imagine they look very flattering on! I like how you rate the lashes and glue separately!

Janessa, they look quite natural indeed. It’s a shame that the awful glue didn’t allow me to take a photo. 🙁
