This Highlighting Powder Will Turn You Into A Face Architect

by Gio

Fashion is architecture: it is a matter of proportions. – Coco Chanel

Coco was talking about fashion (obvs!), but the same is true, for beauty, isn’t it?

A few strokes of lip liner can reshape the lips, a brush of contouring powder can sculpt the cheekbones, and a sprinkle of highlighter opens up the eyes.

We all turn into face architects when we put our faces on in the morning. And like all good architects, we need the right tools for the job.

When it comes to highlighting, I’m currently obsessed with MustaeV Face Architect Powder in Light On (I’m so obsessed I have two of them!).

What made me fall in love with it is its texture. I have never come across a powder that’s so finely milled and super uber smooth. I glide my finger all over its surface just for kicks. I’m not kidding you, it’s that good.

It glides onto the skin like a dream. It’s something out of this world, I tell you. And that makes it oh-so-super easy to blend.

The colour will suit anyone, too, I think. It’s a sheer pinkish beige infused with pearl pigments to make skin glow. I apply it onto the bridge of my nose, the top of my cheekbones, my browbones and, sometimes, on my cupid’s bow, too.

When the light hits those area, my face looks like it’s glowing from within. The pearl pigments are so fine, they don’t give away my secret!

Staying power is pretty good, too. I get a full nine hours of wear before the magic starts to disappear. I admit I’m a bit disappointed. This powder’s so good, I almost expected it to last a week on my skin!

But, hey, nothing’s perfect, I guess? 😉

The swatches actually look SUPER powdery to me… But if you say they’re not then I’ll believe you of course 🙂

Melissa, that may be because I had to apply several layers to get the colour to show up.It’s pretty much the same as my skin.
