What it is
Macadamia nut oil is derived from the nuts of the Macadamia Ternifolia (also called the Queensland nut), a tree native to Australia.

What it does
Made up of fatty acids, proteins, and vitamins B1 and B3, Macadamia nut oil is very similar to human sebum, skin’s natural moisturizer. It moisturizes skin, keeping it soft and smooth.
When used in hair care products, it makes locks soft and shiny.

Side effects
Macadamia nut oil is generally considered to be safe.
