today I want to show you a look that I did a few nights ago to go to a concert. A national radio station had organised a couple of shows in my town last week. I didn’t know the bands that played but my boyfriend really wanted to go so I tagged along. He really enjoyed it while I found it rather boring. It just wasn’t my kind of music but I have to admit the musicians were really good!
I decided to do a look using MAC Deep Blue Pigment, it’s a beautiful and unique color that I love very much. Some people may be a bit scared to use such a dark shade, but I think the pigment is perfect to create a smokey eyes look.
The pictures were taken at night, hence the crap lightening. I haven’t figure out the best camera setting to take pictures with artificial lights yet. But anyway, here’s the look:
– Urban Decay Primer Potion
– MAC Deep Blue Green pigment
– Sleek Original palette (black, purple, green and brownish copper)
– Sleek Chaos palette (matte white)
– Helena Rubinstein Glorious mascara
Using your fingers, apply, UDPP all over lid. Apply MAC Deep Blue Green pigment on inner and middle lid with E.L.F. eyeshadow brush. Apply a brownish/copper color on crease. Then, using an eyeshadow brush, mix the black and purple shades together and apply the color on the outer lid and outer V. Highlight the brownbone with a matte white shade. Using MAC 219 pencil brush, swipe a green emerald color on the lower lashline. Finish off with applying mascaras on lashes.
