What it is
Squalene is a natural component of human sebum and skin and can also be derived from plants and shark liver.

What it does
Squalene is a skin and hair conditioning agent. It gives skin and hair a soft and smooth appearance.
It also has antioxidant properties and helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines as well as preventing free radical damage that causes premature aging.

Side effects
Squalene oxidizes rapidly when exposed to air.
It is also mildly comedogenic.

ohh i have tried to look up squalene! in japan they have a few products with that even as a cleansing oil! thanks for the info!!
