Potassium Stearate is a white powder with a subtle fatty odour.

What it does
Potassium Stearate is an emulsifier: it prevents the oily and liquid parts of a formula from separating.
It can also increase the thickness of the oil portions of cosmetic products.
Finally, Potassium Stearate has lubricating properties.

Side effects
Potassium Stearate is generally considered to be safe.

Wow in think I should try to remember he colors and consistency as well for ingredients. That would make these more useful, wouldn’t it. 🙂 right now, I know most of the ones by what they do and that’s it. I love these posts and they are less conversational which is why there’s probably less comments here but I know we, readers, love them. This makes your blog stand out! Knowledgable beauty. 😀
