What it is
Polymethylsilsesquioxane is a silicone.

What it does
Polymethylsilsesquioxane creates a film on the skin that smooths it, makes it feel silky soft to the touch, and repels water. Because of the small (yet too big to penetrate skin) size of its molecules, it spreads very easily on the skin.

Side effects
Polymethylsilsesquioxane is generally considered to be safe.

What do you think of La Prairie’s Midnight Rain and Atelier Cologne’s Orange Sanguine, if you’ve worn/smelled them?

Ana, I’ve smelled Orange Sanguine and it is a lovely orange cologne. The orange is very intense and persistent. The staying power is good too, especially for a cologne.
