What it is
Polyglyceryl-6 Isostearate is the ester of isostearic acid and a form of glycerin.

What it does
Polyglyceryl-6 Isostearate is an emulsifier: it prevents non-miscible liquids (such as water and oil for instance) from separating.
In addition, it can also be used as an emollient to make skin soft and smooth.

Side effects
Polyglyceryl-6 Isostearate is generally considered to be safe.
