Magnesium Hydroxide, a white solid substance, is the active ingredient in Milk Of Magnesia.

What it does
Magnesium Hydroxide has absorbent and antibacterial properties. In addition, it is also used to adjust the PH of cosmetic products.

Side effects
Magnesium Hydroxide can cause irritations in some people.

Out of curiosity, which kinds of cosmetic products usually contain Magnesium Hydroxide?

Makeup Morsels, I don’t think it’s very used in cosmetics, but I know that Milk of Magnesia is sometimes used by people with oily or breakout prone skin so I thought I’d write a short post on it to explain what it does. 🙂
