I’d say Bourjois, but Sleek is also a gorgeous brand!

Eli, I love Bourjois too. Their blushes are amazing!

I love catrice. Sleek I don’t like so much, I only own a palette and was pretty disappointing, so I haven’t purchased anything else from sleek. But people usually love it, so probably it was only that my palette was not very good. Another thing I don’t like from sleek is that their products ate made in China, whereas catrice is made in Europe.

Leire, what palette did you try? I own quite a few of them, and I love them all.

Catrice is another great brand too. I have a few of their products and the quality is really good for the price. And I agree, it’s great that its products are made in Europe.

I have the oh so special palette. The shades are really pretty, but I find that most of them are chalky, even some of the non matte ones. I have quite greasy eyelids, but these shadows smudge and crease faster than any other shadows I own, even my not very good mua palette lasts longer! I think my eyes and these palette are not compatible :). As I don’t buy much make up I thought that it had been better save the 10€ -at least it was cheap- and buy something with better quality, like a bourjois trio (I love them).

Leire, I have that palette too and, while it’s not one of my favourites, I don’t find the non matte shades chalky. Maybe you got a dud? In any case, have you tried using it with a primer? That should at least fix the creasing problem. 🙂

I’m sorry Sleek Makeup palettes haven’t lived up to your expectations. But I guess not everything can work for everyone. And I agree. It doesn’t matter how low the price is, it’s better to spend the money on something that you enjoy. 🙂

Revlon is my fav. We don’t have Catrice or Sleek here in the US .. but I’ve heard good reviews on both products.

Monica.

MonicaP, Revlon has really upped its game lately. The lip products especially are fab.

I definitely like Sleek, but it’s only available online here, so I’m going to go with NYX!

Kiss & Make-up, it’s the same here too. But I like the brand so much I don’t mind buying their products online.

Nyx is another great brand too. It rarely disappoints.

Barry M for nail varnish, I think Max Factor for foundations and I’m torn between L’Oreal and Maybelline for mascara. I don’t think I could pick just one for everything!

Katie, it’s really hard to choose one, isn’t it? Every brands has products they excel at and others that are just average of worse. I love Barry M nail polishes too. The formula is lovely and there are so many colours to choose from!

These days the only repurchase from the drugstore I have are Rimmel concealers. Here Bourjois lipsticks are more pricy than Clinique and NYX has pretty much disappeared just like The Balm so I can’t really say.

Icaria, what a shame that so many brands have left your area or are overpriced. Bourjois more expensive than Clinique?! That’s crazy!

I like Rimmel & Max Factor.

Marina, I really like Max Factor too. Saldy, it’s becoming more and more difficult to find it in my town. So many shops have stopped stocking it. 🙁

Maybelline and Covergirl, usually. I love Maybelline’s eyeliners and concealer, and Covergirl has great foundation shades for pale skin.

Meg, I like Maybelline a lot too. Their products are really good for their prices indeed.
