My 5 Favourite Blushes For Summer

Today, I thought it’d be fun to share with you my favourite summer blushes. Let’s get started:

Sleek Makeup Blush in Rose Gold

Sleek Makeup Blush in Rose Gold (€5,49) is one of my fave blushes ever, although I don’t use it that often because it is hella pigmented. That may be great news for dark-skinned ladies, but fair beauties like me need to be very careful with application. It’s worth it, though. The colour, a shimmering peachy pink, beautifully warms up the complexion and gives your skin a healthy glow that lasts for hours.

Sonia Kashuk Beautifying Blush in Flushed

Pale princesses will love Sonia Kashuk Beautifying Blush in Flushed ($9.79). Although it looks really bright and scary in the pan, this cool, blue-based pink shade is actually very sheer (but easy to build up), which makes application easy. It is infused with shimmers, which give your cheeks a radiant glow. This too, lasts for most of the day.

Essence Silky Touch Blush in Secret It-Girl

Peach blushes are always in in summer. They give a nice warm glow to the complexion that makes it look healthy and radiant. Essence Silky Touch Blush in Secret It-Girl (€2,45) is one of my favourites. Colour payoff is sheer, but buildable, and it lasts for ages on my dry cheeks.

Neve Cosmetics Blush in Summertime

Mineral makeup lovers need to try Neve Cosmetics Blush in Summertime (€12,90). A bronzy pink blush with a gold iridescence, it just screams summer. It blends like a dream and provides a beautiful and glowy tanned look. Plus, it can be used as eyeshadow too. I just wish it lasted longer. After 5 hours, it starts to fade quickly.

Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush in Soft Candy

I rarely wear cream blushes, but in the summer, I love to give my cheek a radiant and healthy pop of colour with Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush in Soft Candy ($6.99). It’s a bright coral with excellent colour payoff. You only need the tiniest amount. Its lightweight, gel-like texture doesn’t feel sticky on the lips and lasts for about 7 hours on my cheeks, which I think is pretty impressive for a cream blush.

Love your selection and I should get closer to Essence, I found a place where I work where they sell it, finally! Now that Sonia Kashuk looks so pretty! I haven’t tried anything from this brand yet since the displays are always empty. 🙁

MAC Fleur Power and MAC Cream Soda! I like to add a bit of highlighter in the summer for luminous cheeks! Some days, I wear a subtle blush (usually peach) and just put on some highlighter.
