Amodimethicone is a silicone. It is only used as a mixture with Nonoxynol-10 and Tallowtrimonium chloride.

What it does
Amodimethicone is a hair conditioning agent. It makes hair soft, manageable, and easy to comb through.
It doesn’t build up on hair.

Side effects
Amodimethicone is generally considered to be safe.
