Wasn’t there some concern awhile back about aluminium in deodorants? Whatever happened to that? I’ll have to check to see if anyone found hard evidence that it caused Alzheimer’s when used long-term…

Bebetaian, as far as I know, no one has yet proven that it is bad for our health. But a lot of companies have stopped using it because consumers don’t like it.

Aluminum is toxic ingested so good thing it’s not in lip products of this century. 😛

What about the fact that most common cooking pans are made of aluminium? Can’t help thinking that tiny bits of aluminium are ending up in the foods cooked in these pans (even when coated with teflon which probably will leak over time). Also, food stored in aluminium foil, esp. acidic foods.

Esthi, my expertise is in skincare, not cooking, sorry! But I’ve never heard anything about them so I wouldn’t worry.
