Name: Liner Intense
From N.6’s website:
Soft pencil for a precise application on the waterline.
What I liked:
– good colour payoff
– soft texture, glides smoothly on the lid
– lasts a few hours on the waterline
– the packaging
– the price
What I didn’t like:
– if you have oily lids, it will smudge on you after a few hours
– available only in Italy
Let’s face it. Most pencil eyeliners have one major flaw: they disappear from the waterline faster than you can say “lined it!”. Not N.6 Liner Intense. This stuff is designed to intensify the eyes by defining the waterline, and it lasts quite a while on. Granted, it doesn’t stay put for the entire day. That would be asking too much.
But I have to retouch it only every three hours or so, rather than every 10 minutes, which is more than enough to make me fall in love with it. Its staying power is even more surprising when you consider that the texture isn’t waterproof. Soap and water is enough to wash it off quickly.
Of course, N.6 Liner Intense can also be used on the upper and lower lashlines. There, it lasts even longer (about 8 hours), but if you have oily lids, I recommend you apply a primer beforehand or the liner will, after a few hours, smudge on you, making you look like a panda. As cute as those animals are, you wouldn’t want to look like one, would you? With a base, instead, it stays puts without problems.
The eyeliner is, so far, available only in black. It’s not the blackest black I have ever come across, but it’s not a greyish or sheer black either. It’s more of a medium black that doesn’t look too harsh and can so be used for daytime looks too. Pigmentation is good. One swipe is all you need.
The texture is quite soft too. While it isn’t as creamy as Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencils, it is soft enough to glide easily on the lids without pulling nor tugging. And did I mention that it’s only €3,30? It may not be a miracle worker, but its performance is pretty impressive all the same.

N.6 Liner Intense has a soft texture that glides on smoothly, leaving behind a pigmented and opaque black line of colour. It lasts up to 3 hours on the waterline, and 8 on the lashline, but, if you have oily lids, smudges can occur.
