I’m often told I look like an angel. That’s cos I’m the quiet type. I sit there, looking all sweet and innocent, talking softly, and fooling people into believing there’s not a naughty bone in my body. If only they knew…
But they don’t need to, right? I like looking like an angel, and, thanks to the subtle glow it provides, Mememe Angel Face BB Cream makes that a little bit easier. It brightens my skin just enough to make me look like I’m glowing from within. But it’s not dewy.
My t-zone likes that. It means I don’t have to worry about Angel Face BB Cream turning half my face into a disco ball. Although, by lunch time, some shine finds its way back on my skin again. This BB Cream has many benefits, but it doesn’t keep oil at bay for too long on its own.
Its lightweight, silky texture glides on smoothly on my skin, evening out my skintone, and covering small imperfections, like not too heavy dark circles, for most of the day. If you’ve stayed away from BB Creams because they give no coverage, I think you’ll like this one a lot.
Compared to other formulas, it’s more pigmented. But less hydrating too. Angel Face doesn’t dry my skin at all, but it doesn’t provide much hydration either. I still need to apply my moisturizer before putting it on, especially on dry areas, or they’d start complaining they aren’t getting enough moisture.
Then, I follow up with sunscreen. Don’t think that you can’t skip this part just because Mememe Angel Face BB Cream has SPF 15! It’s true, it provide broad spectrum protection.
Used together, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Titanium Dioxide, and Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine protect against UVA and UVB rays. But you’d need to apply more than 10 layers to reach the level of protection stated on the packaging!
I’m assuming you’re not doing that? Me neither. So, treat SPF in makeup products as a nice booster for your sunscreen, not a substitute for it! I know it’s a drag, but your skin will thank you.
Mememe Angel Face BB Cream is available in four shades: Porcelain Pure, Beige Blush, Honey Lush, and Golden Glow. They’re all warm-toned, so cool-toned girls are out of luck with this range. Sorry!
Pale princesses won’t be able to find a good match either. Porcelain Pure, the lightest shade, is still a touch too dark for my skintone. It may do in summer, when skin is a bit tanned, but I doubt I’ll get much use out of it in winter. Shame, cos I like it a lot.
Having said that, the shade selection isn’t so bad. It’s difficult enough to find a BB Cream that comes in more than one shade. This comes in four, so more ladies will be able to enjoy it. I definitely appreciate the effort, don’t you?

THE BOTTOM LINE
Pros: Good coverage, evens out the skintone and hides minor imperfections; Lightweight, silky texture glides smoothly on the skin; Gives skin a subtle, lit-from-within glow; Longlasting.
Cons: Doesn’t keep excess oil at bay for long; Not very moisturizing; No cool-toned shades available.
Summary: Mememe Angel Face BB Cream provides good, slightly luminous coverage that evens out the skintone and hides small imperfections for most of the day. But it doesn’t moisturize skin, and won’t keep oil at bay for long.
