Name: Eye Dust
From Sleek’s website:
Highly Luminescent shimmering loose eye shadow powder. Glides effortlessly onto the skin leaving a sparkling film of color on your eyelids creating a sleek and stunning look.
What I liked:
– lots of beautiful shades available
– good color payoff
– the packaging
– the price
What I didn’t like:
– can’t think of anything
Sleek Eye Dust pigments are available in 18 shades. I have Jet Set, which is a very beautiful light green color. I’m not very good at describing colors, so I’ll let the swatch below do all the talking.
The powder is not as finely milled as that of other pigments I’ve tried like my beloved Bary M Dazzle Dusts for instance. But it applies smoothly and is easy to blend. It has shimmers but they aren’t too obvious nor glittery. The color payoff is really good: the shade is bright, vibrant and shimmery. And it lasts all day too!
The packaging is very similar to that of MAC pigments, both in shape and size. Sleek pigment contains 6.5g, while MAC 7.5g. But at £2.99 each Sleek pigments are a steal! The jar also has a sifter, which I really like as there isn’t spillage.
Overall, I really love this pigments. They have great color payoff, are long-lasting and the packaging is quite big. At £2.99 each, I don’t see any reason not to collect quite a few of them!
