Name: Nail Polish
What I liked:
– beautiful shade with shiny finish
– dries fast
– formula is easy to apply, no streaks
– big 3 free formula
– the price
What I didn’t like:
– shades don’t have names
– nail polish chips after three days without a top coat
– not available outside Italy
A while ago, I told you about a beautiful Barbie pink nail polish from Quandoè, a very cheap range of cosmetics I discovered a few months . Well, together with the pink, I had also purchased a bright fuchsia one and since Quandoè nail polishes are nameless, we’ll just call it Fuchsia, ok? 🙂
Fuchsia is a bright hot pink with some purple undertones and a shiny finish. The shade is very pigmented so one coat is enough to achieve an opaque film of color on your nails. And it looks gorgeous on! It’s cheerful but elegant at the same time and it is a shade I love to wear on my toe nails as well. 🙂
The formula is wonderful to work with as well: it’s neither too thick nor too thin but applies smoothly without streaking and it isn’t prone to bubbling either. The only downside is that it doesn’t last long on my fingernails. On the third day, without a top coat, it started chipping quite badly. On my toe nails, though it performed much better: it lasted up to ten days with only minimal chipping.
I guess that’s because one doesn’t really do much with their feet. Of course they carry us around all day, which is a very important task, but not one that causes polishes to chip like typing, doing the housework etc. I think with the help of good top coat, it may last 4 or 5 days at least on your fingernails as well especially if, unlike me, you’re gentle with your hands.
Available at: Acqua & Sapone and Tigotà shops
Overall, Quandoè nail polishes are pretty good for the very cheap price. The color is pigmented and shiny while the formula applies easily without streaking. However, it chips soon, shades don’t have names and this range isn’t available outside Italy.
