Name: Vamp! Compact Eyeshadow in Tropical Green
From Pupa’s website:
Creamy, impalpable and ultra-comfortable texture that’s easy to blend and offers buildable colour payoff. The colour remains impeccable for the whole day.
What I liked:
– good colour payoff
– creamy texture blends like a dream
– no fallout
– when used with a primer, it lasts the whole day on the lids
– cute packaging
What I didn’t like:
– used on bare oily lids, it can crease and fade within a few hours
– sponge applicator included in the packaging is useless
Pupa Vamp! Mascara is one of my favourite mascaras. Very pigmented, it provides in just one coat a dramatic look that lasts and lasts. So, I was thrilled when, following its tremendous success, Pupa decided to expand the Vamp line to include four new types of eyeshadows in cream, baked, loose powder and pressed powder forms, all of which are said to be incredibly rich and pigmented.
I decided to try the latter first. It is available in 24 bright and natural shades in three different finishes (matte, satin and metallic), so it took me ages to choose one. Eventually I settled on Tropical Green, an intense dark teal that leans more towards green and has a satin finish. Its texture is very smooth to the touch, almost creamy, and blends like a dream. Pigmentation is great too.
On bare lids, the colour is quite subtle but can very easily be built up for more intensity. Mine are slightly oily, so after six hours, the eyeshadow started to fade and crease. But over a primer, Tropical Green truly shines. The colour is then vibrant and rich, and stays put from morning till night. No creasing. No fading. And no fallout either. I’m impressed. Now, what shade to try next?

Pupa Vamp! Compact Eyeshadow in Tropical Green has a creamy texture that’s easy to blend. Although when used on bare lids it is on the sheer side and prone to creasing, applied on top of a primer the colour becomes rich and intense and doesn’t budge for the whole day.
