I’ve recently been introduced to a new cosmetic brand that I adore and I am very excited to tell you all about it. I’m talking about PeaceKeeper Cause-Metics. Their products are organic, eco-friendly and not tested on animals but what makes this company different from all the rest is that they donate all their after-tax profits to women’s healthy and human right groups! So, if you need some new makeup or want to buy a present for someone, please consider buying from Peacekeeper as this company doesn’t only make you look good but makes you feel good as well!
I’ve had the chance to try a couple of products from the line and being a lip balm addict, I had to review the Perfect As Is Balm first. The first thing I noticed and loved straight away is the scent. It smells divine! I’m not really that good at describing scents but this has a hint of rose and is sweet but not too sweet. When I smell it, it almost feels like I’m in a candy store but not quite because the scent is lovely, not juvenile or off-putting. It’s just simply wonderful.
The lip balm itself is pink in color, leaving the subtlest pink tint on your lips, and has a gritty texture. I think this is because it is made of natural ingredients but I don’t mind as it doesn’t scratch lips. Instead, thanks to Palm Oil, Olive Oil, Jojoba Oil and Coconut Oil (the main ingredients of this lip balm), lips are soft and smooth, moisturized and hydrated. And the effect last for hours, so you won’t need to reapply it often.
The cold season is slowly approaching so if you’re looking for a lip balm that will keep your lips in good condition and prevent chapping, this is a great option to consider. Some may think that $8.00 is a bit high for a lip balm (Peacekeeper also makes an Eco Sensual Lip Balm that retails at $3.89 but I haven’t tried that yet) but it’s definitely worth getting not only because it performs so well but especially because the money you spend will go to a good cause.

Overall, I highly recommend PeaceKeeper Cause-Metics Perfect As Is Balm. Made of natural ingredients, the lip balm is very moisturizing, leaving lips soft and hydrated for hours. It also imparts a pink tint to lips which looks very subtle and natural. Oh, and the scent is absolutely wonderful. However, the texture is a bit gritty and some may think the price is too high too but remember that this company donates all after-taxes profits to charity!
