Name: Colorfix Top Coat
From Mavala’s website:
COLORFIX is a clear top coat reinforced with acryl which dries to a hard, elastic glaze, contributes a brilliant sheen to nail colour and “fixes” it, forming an extra protective shield against flaking.
What I liked:
– provides a very shiny finish to nails
– makes nail polish last longer
– dries quickly
What I didn’t like:
– some people may consider it on the pricey side
I’m pretty hard on my nails so a top coat is a must if I want my nail polishes to last more than a couple of days on me. My favourite at the moment is Mavala Colorfix Top Coat. It has a dense and thick consistency that is nonetheless easy to apply and dries quickly. And it does exactly what it promises: it provides a very shiny finish to nails and makes your manicure last longer.
As I mentioned, nail polishes usually last only 2 or 3 days on me, but when I use Mavala Colorfix my manicure remains intact for at least 5 days. If you’re gentler than me on your nails, a week could easily pass before you experience any chipping. The shiny finish will instead fade after about 3 days, but you can always apply another layer to brighten it up again. And apart from the price, which some people may consider too expensive for a top coat, I really can’t think of anything that I don’t like about this product.
