What I didn’t like:
– can’t honestly think of anything
Ages ago (yes, I know that I take a very long time to review brushes, but that’s because I don’t want to recommend you something that seems great at first and then falls apart apart a couple of months’ washes 🙂 ), I mentioned to my friend Dao that I was looking for a good eyeliner brush and soon afterwards she sent me Loew Cornell 7450 Chisel Blender brush. Loew Cornell may make brushes that are meant to be used for painting, but sometimes those too can work just as well at applying makeup and the 7450 Chisel Blender is particularly good at applying eyeliner.
Loew Cornell 7450 Chisel Blender has stiff but soft bristles that don’t scratch skin. I know that in the close up the bristles look separated into little groups but don’t let that fool you: they apply eyeliner in a straight line smoothly and effortlessly. I had never used an eyeliner brush before trying this and I was afraid I would find it a bit difficult but it was really easy and foolproof really.
The brush picks up a good amount of product and can be used with both pencil and gel liners. In addition, the bristles don’t bleed and don’t shed. After more than a year of frequent use and washing, it still looks as good as new. And it costs only $6.50! I honestly cannot find anything that’s wrong with this brush. It’s very effective and, at that price, a steal!
Loew Cornell 7450 Chisel Blender Size 6 has stiff but soft bristles that pick up a nice amount of product and apply it smoothly and easily on the lashline. It can be used both with pencil and gel liners and, even after months of regular washes, it remains in perfect condition. And it is so cheap!
