Name: Eau De Parfum
Brand: John Richmond
What I liked:
– lovely fruity floral scent
– good sillage and staying power
– sleek bottle
– the price
What I didn’t like:
– banal and unoriginal
The simple and sleek bottle of John Richmond Eau De Parfum is decorated with a padlock that gives it a mysterious and edgy vibe. How precious is the juice inside to be so safely guarded? Sadly, not very. Remove the cap and spritz it on, and all you get is just another fruity floral scent. Lovely, but banal.
Juicy pear, tarty sour berries and fresh pink grapefruit make up the opening. It’s fresh, strong and fleeting. Before you know it , they fruits have been relegated to the background. It’s now time for the floral bouquet to shine. Magnolia, lily and daffodil create a sweet, powdery and just a touch soapy accord that’s feminine without being old-fashioned. Finally, the drydown is a soft and sensual blend of earthy patchouli and creamy sandalwood.
John Richmond Eau De Parfum is a very likeable scent that can be worn on any occasion. Although it doesn’t stay too close to the skin, it is inoffensive enough to be worn at work or school, and will stay with you for most of the day. If you’re looking for your first fruity floral scent, this may be a good option to consider, especially because of its cheap price. Otherwise, you could easily skip it.
John Richmond Eau De Parfum is just another lovely but inoffensive and unoriginal fruity floral scent. Both sillage and staying power are good, and the price is reasonable.
