Brand: Clean Skin Eye Make-Up Remover
From Deborah’s website:
A gentle formula that removes all traces of eye make-up.
What I liked:
– removes minimal makeup well
– the price
What I didn’t like:
– doesn’t remove bold or waterproof makeup well
– the packaging
Have you ever tried a gel eye makeup remover? I usually stick to those in liquid or cream form, but Deborah Bioetyc Clean Skin Eye Make-Up Remover intrigued me (and it also helps that it is inexpensive 😉 ) and so I decided to take the plunge and try my first gel eye makeup remover. Did I regret it? Sadly, yes.
Deborah Bioetyc Clean Skin Eye Make-Up Remover is light blue in color, has a dense and thick consistency and a very subtle fresh scent. It is also very gentle and it didn’t irritate my eyes, which is always a plus. However, it doesn’t do its job that well. Now, if you are the type that wears only minimal, natural makeup, then this eye makeup remover will work ok for you.
But I like to wear pigmented and bold eye looks and I find that I have to pour the product at least twice on the cotton ball to remove every trace of makeup. And that’s when I’m not wearing longlasting or waterproof products. In that case Deborah Bioetyc Clean Skin Eye Make-Up Remover is just completely useless.
I’m also not fond of the packaging. The bottle is asymmetrically curved and, while I’m sure some people will find it cute and fun, it just doesn’t look good to me. I just prefer simpler, sleek packaging.

Deborah Bioetyc Clean Skin Eye Make-Up Remover is a dense gel that doesn’t irritate eyes. However, it doesn’t remover makeup that well. It works well for those that wear very little makeup while everyone else will have to use quite a bit of product to take everything off.
