What I liked:
– releases rose petals into the water and makes it cloudy
– lovely rose scent
– looks very pretty
What I didn’t like:
– not very moisturizing
– removing the petals from the bathtub afterwards is a pain
What’s your favourite way to unwind after a long day at work? Mine is a warm rose petal bath. I fill up the bathtub, get in and drop Bomb Cosmetics Rose Bath Creamer into the water. Then, I simply relax, as the bath bomb works its magic.
Small as a golf ball, the Rose Bath Creamer is white in colour and filled with Moroccan rose petals. As it touches the water, the white bits fizz away, clouding it. Slowly, the rose petals come unstuck and start floating on the surface. At the same time, a feminine, dainty and slightly powdery rose scent, enriched by just a touch of exotic jasmine, fills the air. It’s pure bliss.
The first time I used it, I spent two hours in there. I just couldn’t bring myself to come out. It was so relaxing. I also loved the way that some of the petals stuck to my skin. I felt like an ancient Greek goddess bathing in a small pool surrounded by a bush of roses, whose petals had fallen into the clear water.
As wonderful as bathing in rose petals is, there is some cleaning up to do afterwards. Those little petals really stick to your bathtub and removing then is not exactly pleasant. But I’m relaxed enough not to mind too much. This bath creamer really gets you in a nice mood.
Oh, and no, this one didn’t hydrate my skin either. That’s no easy job though as my skin is always so dry! I guess bathing for two hours in warm water isn’t really helping, but it just feels so good. And you can always apply a body butter afterwards to make your skin soft and moisturize it, you know?

As it fizzes away, Bomb Cosmetics Rose Bath Cream releases a rose scent and rose petals into the water and makes it cloudy. However, it’s not moisturizing and the petals need to be removed from the bathtub afterwards.
