No, I’m not gonna stop raving about Mavala nail polishes.
In fact, I’ve got another shade to show you. This one is called Copper Gold, and it’s a bronzy antique gold shade with a shiny metallic finish. It’s one of those colours that looks better on the nails than in the bottle, and really shines when the light hits it. The effect is beautiful.
Copper Gold is one of those shades that is subtle enough for the office, yet fun enough for a night out. It’s so versatile, and goes with every outfit.
It has outstanding colour payoff, too. Although this isn’t a bright or intense shade, one coat is more than enough to get an opaque coverage. But, I recommend applying two to even things out.
One thing I noticed about the Mavala metallic formula is that it tends to streak a bit, so you need to take a bit more time to make sure everything goes on smoothly.
Once it’s on, though, it dries so so fast. Two or three minutes later, I can already use my hands without fear of causing dents or smudges.
It’s pretty resilient, too, so it lasts for a good three days on me, without a top coat. I imagine with one, you could easily wear it for a week straight. If you can put up with wearing the same colour for that long. I’m way too fickle for that. 🙂
