What it is:
Green Tea Extract is derived from the plant Camellia Sinensis, which is rich in ingredients known as polyphenols (also called tannis) that have antioxidant properties.
What it does:
As stated above, Green Tea Extract has anti-oxidant properties that protect the skin from the harmful effects of UV radiation and environmental stress and pollution, helping to prevent premature aging and wrinkles. It also fights free radicals.
In addition, Green Tea Extract has anti-inflammatory properties.
Green Tea Extract is generally considered to be safe.
