today I’m spicing things up a little. There are so many new collections and launches every month that, if I dedicate a post to each of them, I won’t be able to bring all of the most intriguing ones to your attention. So, I thought I’d group a few of them in one post. You can check out the new format below. Let me know how you like (or don’t like) it, and any suggestions you have to improve it. All your feedback is always very appreciated!
So, let’s get started:
Catrice Check & Tweet
I love the checkered pattern of Catrice‘s new fall collection Check & Tweet. It’s elegant and understated, yet it doesn’t fail to capture your attention. The two Quattro Baked Eyeshadow palettes in London’s Eye and Town of Crown (€4.49 each) look particularly pretty. I’m not sure I’ll try one though, as baked eyeshadows tend to be on the sheer side, while I prefer bolder shades.
I think I’d like the Highlighting Powder in Flagg The Union Jack (€4.49) a lot more. It features light-reflecting pigments that highlight your face and neckline and a two-tone diamond design with light powder and darker shimmer pigments that’s really cute. Lips are kept semi-matte with the three new shades of Velvet Lip Colour (€3.99). Available in reddish brown, orangey red and Bordeaux, they’re called Queen’s BEAUTea time, Mind The Red!, and Brit Chick.
The new five Ultimate Nail Lacquer shades (€2.79), instead, have a pearly finish, and are perfect for fall. They are: London Calling, England’s Rose, Mind The Red!, Brit Chick, and Hyde In The Park. Finally, the collection also includes an Eye Brow Fixing Gel in Naturally Brown (3.29) which features a light, almost transparent colour-dispersion model.
Catrice’s Check & Tweet will be available in stores from mid-September to mid-October.
Artdeco Majestic Beauty
If you love red lips paired with neutral eyes, you’re going to love Artdeco‘s fall offering, Majestic Beauty. The eyes are either kept natural or emphasized with rich jewel tones with the new Eyeshadows (€4.80) in Historic Wood, Majestic Dove Grey, Matt Ancient Iron, Matt Generous Beige, Pearly Mother Nature and Purple Monarch. You can house up to 4 of them (or just one, plus a blush) in the new Beauty Box Quattro in Majestic Beauty (€9.95)
If you prefer Eye Designer Refill (€7.50), you can check out the two new shades available, Ancient Iron and Historic Wood. To complete the eye look, you can line your eyes with the Soft Eye Liner Waterproof (€6.80) in Historic Wood and Ancient Iron, and a coat of Extreme Volume Mascara in Black (€12.80). And the cheeks? You can choose between the powder Blusher in Princess Lily (€8.50) or the Cream Rouge in Creamy Rose Madame (€11,80), which can be applied on the lips as well.
For the lips there are plenty of red shades, plus the occasional nude hue if you decide to opt for a smokey eye look instead. Mineral Lip Styler (€8.50) is available in Mineral Black Cherry Queen; Perfect Color Lipstick (€9.50) in Black Cherry Queen and Generous Beige; Art Couture Lipstick (€13.80) in Cream Crimson Queen and Velvet Graceful Rose; and Lip Brilliance (€9.50) in Brilliant Crimson Queen and Brilliant Purple Monarch. The nails are coated with red and nude hues too, with the new Art Couture Nail Lacquer shades in Couture Silk, Couture Lucious Red, and Couture Mahogany(€8.50).
The collection is already available in stores. Have you checked it out yet?
Kiko Daring Game
Do you dare to play the game? I’m not much of a card player, and even less of a gambler, but I am very tempted to play with Daring Game, the new fall collection from Kiko. The products, which are housed in boxes that look like card holders, are embossed with card symbols, while the nail polish caps have been transformed in dices. Are you ready to play?
Let’s start with the Queen of Hearts Eyeshadow Palette (€14,90), which is available in three versions, each of which features four pigmented eyeshadows: Essential brown, Luxury stone green, and Elegant ebony. If you prefer creamy eyeshadows, choose one of the 10 new shades of Color-Up Long Lasting Eyeshadow (€7,90€). It’s available in Charming champagne, Sinuous shell, Bold rosy taupe, Majestic dove-grey, Likable blackberry, Mysterious acai, Tasteful indigo, Fine jade, Irresistible teal, and Persuasive anthracite.
Define with the eyes with the All-In Marker And Kajal (€9,90). On one side, it features a small eyeliner tip to draw a thin line, and on the other a Kajal tip to define the waterline or create a smoky look along the upper lashline. It’s available in black. If you’re into smokey looks, try Mystery Smoky Eye Pencil (€6,90). It’s available in six shades: Seductive emerald, Gritty ivy, Extraordinary sapphire, Heady rock brown, Powerful burgundy, and Wily bright wood.
Sculpt your cheeks with the Golden Game Scultping Bronzer (€15,90), which features a bronzer and a highlighter. It is available in Radiant honey and Precious sienna. Apply it with the new heart-shaped Face Brush (€15,90), which allows you to place and blend both shades at the same time. Cool, isn’t it? The Top Pair Blush (€14,90) features two shades too. One is matte and the other pearly. They’re called Desert sand and rose coral, Raspberry rose and peach, and Rosewood and azalea.
Lips are coated with a semi-matte intense colour with the new Age of Diamond Lipstick (€7,90). It’s available in Dainty oleander rose, Hypnotic coral, Distinct golden hibiscus, Piquant fire red, Active fuchsia, and Refined burgundy. But beforehand, define your lips with Ace Of Diamond Lip Pencil (€5,90). The six shades match those of the lipsticks.
The Poker Nail Laquer (€6,90) have a glossy, gel-like effect. You can choose between six shades: Prestigious taupe; Irresistible orchid; Suggestive red; Intuition wine; Exclusive blue; and Slick bluenoir. Finally, to help you achieve a flawless complexion, try Glowing Game (€13,90). It’s a serum that makes skin smooth and glowy.
The collection is already in stores. Isn’t it gorgeous?
